1. Who We Are

Kleado Technologies Private Limited ("Kleado," "we," "us") operates the lead intelligence marketplace at kleado.com. We are committed to protecting the personal data of our users in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and other applicable laws.

Kleado acts as a Data Fiduciary as defined under the DPDP Act for data processed through our Platform.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Account & Registration Data

  • Full name, email address, phone number
  • Company name, designation, and industry
  • Billing address and GST number (if applicable)
  • Username and hashed password

2.2 Usage & Behavioural Data

  • Pages visited, features used, search queries on the Platform
  • IP address, browser type, device information, OS
  • Session duration and clickstream data
  • Lead purchases, filters applied, and download history

2.3 Payment Data

Payment card and UPI details are collected and processed directly by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processors (Razorpay / Stripe). Kleado does not store raw card data.

2.4 Lead Data (Marketplace)

If you list leads as a Seller, you submit contact records including names, emails, phone numbers, and intent metadata. You warrant that you have the lawful right to share this data under the DPDP Act.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide, operate, and improve the Kleado Platform and Marketplace
  • To process payments and manage your subscription
  • To personalise your experience and surface relevant leads
  • To train and improve our AI scoring models (anonymised and aggregated)
  • To send transactional communications (receipts, alerts, password resets)
  • To send marketing communications (with your consent, opt-out available)
  • To detect fraud, abuse, and security threats
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. Lead Data & Third Parties

Lead contact records purchased from the Marketplace are provided for your internal business use only. Kleado is not responsible for how Buyers use purchased data. All Buyers agree to use leads in compliance with applicable telemarketing, anti-spam, and data protection laws.

We share data with the following categories of third parties:

  • Payment processors (Razorpay, Stripe) — to handle transactions
  • Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud) — to host the Platform
  • Analytics tools (anonymised usage data only)
  • CRM integrations — only when explicitly authorised by you
  • Law enforcement — when required by a valid legal order

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the Platform and analyse usage. These include:

  • Essential cookies — required for login and session management
  • Analytics cookies — to understand Platform usage patterns
  • Preference cookies — to remember your settings

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect Platform functionality.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account deletion:

  • Account data is deleted within 30 days
  • Transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax law
  • Usage logs are anonymised within 90 days

7. Your Rights

Under the DPDP Act 2023, you have the right to:

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data
  • Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time
  • Nominate a person to exercise your rights on your behalf
  • File a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational security measures including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, role-based access controls, regular penetration testing, and multi-factor authentication for administrative access.

No system is perfectly secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you as required by law.

9. Children's Privacy

The Kleado Platform is intended for business users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately.

10. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email and a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
